As part of the third generation in my family's engineering and racing lineage, I have been immersed in this world since childhood. Now at 47 years old, I bring over 40 years of my own hands-on experience, coupled with the invaluable wisdom passed down through generations. This rich heritage ensures that every historic vehicle entrusted to us benefits from a rare blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern precision, honed over decades.
The spark that ignited our legacy
The heart and soul of Monroe Motorsport can be traced back to a pivotal moment in 1986. I was about seven years old when my father took me to Brands Hatch to watch Formula 1. Though I couldn't see much through the fence, just metres away, the sound was an unforgettable roar that etched itself into my soul for years to come. Throughout my life, I supported my brothers Alec Livesley racing career. The spark that truly reignited the legacy was born from two parts: running a Lola T400 for another team the last couple of years, which brought back that visceral feeling of being right with the F1 cars, and the birth of my first child, giving me the drive to ensure my family's heritage and legacy continues through him.
